Last week. It went too fast!
We have loved the beauty of Texas, especially in the spring with all the wildflowers, but what we will miss is the people we have come to know and love. We have loved our experiences helping others come back into church activity, helping new members get to the temple, and helping the young missionaries teach new investigators. It has been a joy!
This last week we did some of our last visits to people. This coming week will be the rest of our last visits. It's very sad. We are excited to spend time with family again, BUT we are sad to leave these dear people we love so much! Elder Bell stated recently, "If you don't want to hurt, then don't care." We really care, so it hurts!
HOT! The heat wave has been going on forever! There were 11 days in June and 23 days in July that we had 100+ degree heat! One day (I forget which day) tied a record for the hottest day at 110 degrees in Austin. Anyway, we are very grateful that we have working air conditioners in our apartment and car. (Austin had 29 days of 100+ degrees in July! Ranked hottest July ever!)
We wondered what we would do different if we had this time to spend over, and there were a few things we would change, but mostly we feel that we were where we needed to be when we were needed. It's been a wonder to see the miracles we've been blessed to be a part of!
We had a visitor from Hawaii last week, Rose Ram! What a treat!!
We saw our first live armadillo!
We caught colds! Not exciting, just annoying.
This week: eat with the Orellanas today, teach English, teach a couple of more lessons, go to dinner with President Fox on Wednesday, take the Sudweeks to meet our north branch members as well as take them to Gonzales, TEMPLE DAY on Friday with the Orellanas, take more pictures of people we love, then clean and pack!
Then figure out when we can go again!

Thank you so much for sharing the adventures of Sister and Elder Bell. I look forward to experiencing by proxy further adventures of this kind in the future.
