3 more weeks

We are excited about seeing family soon, especially our grandchildren,  but we are sad to have so little time left here! The time has gone by so quickly, way too quick!

The above photo is our last district photo before transfers. Of our 8 young missionaries, one went home (mission complete!) and 3 transferred. I hate when the young missionaries leave! I get so attached. 🥰

(Back row: Sister Bell, Wrucke, Becerra, Bair, Hardy and Sudweeks.

Front row: Elder Bell, Ure, Cox, Schern, Park (going home!) and Sudweeks.)

The past couple of weeks have been the most busy we've been with appointments, having 15 appointments one week and close to that the next! We have a temple trip to take with the Orellanas on August 5, and Alfredo is getting baptized on August 6th. What a great way to finish up!

Elder and Sister Sudweeks are going to move into our apartment. They've  been  in temporary housing thus far.  I've been training them on FamilySearch and Ancestry.  They will be mainly working with the Lockhart branch. I am so happy that someone else will be here to support this area.

It has been HOT. Record breaking heat last week. We've probably had 20 days SO FAR of 100+ degrees. Wow. Thank goodness for air conditioning!  (Just checked.  We've had 21 days of 100+ degrees, including today!  Ten more days were 99 degrees, so didn't quite make it to 100. Supposed to get past 100 every day this week.)

I have been knitting baby doll outfits while Elder Bell drives us all around the countryside... I  have given away a lot and have several more promised....I need to get busy. Only have 3 weeks to finish them!

4th  (and last) puzzle of the mission.

A fun goose by the lake.

These water tanks make us happy! We see them quite often when we drive to Dale and beyond.

Some of the doll clothes I have made.  About half of these I have given away!  I gave away my mermaid outfit, and have one more on request, so another will be made up soon!

Have a great week!!
